Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Master the art of crafting authentic Korean breads, including techniques for perfect textures and flavors.
- Develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance while experimenting with innovative ingredients.
- Manage the bread-making process from ingredient selection to baking, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofing chambers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ingredient ordering, minimizing waste and ensuring timely supply.
- Train and mentor junior bakers, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a skilled team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Holds relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial bakery or related food production environment.
- Exhibits a strong preference for candidates with prior experience in Korean bakeries or restaurants, but not mandatory.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Displays a passion for bread making, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
