Roles & Responsibilities
Experienced Baker and Pastry/ CDP/DCDP/Commis 1/Commis 2/Commis 3
Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, cookies, cakes, pizza, pasta, brownies and other baked goods. Follow recipes and maintain consistency in quality and presentation. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the kitchen. Manage baking schedules to ensure products are always fresh. Develop and create new pastry recipes that reflect seasonal ingredients and current trends, ensuring a unique offering for customers.
Oversee the daily production of baked goods, maintaining quality and presentation standards that align with the bakery's brand.
Manage inventory and ordering of baking supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked without excess waste.
Desired Candidate Profile
Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, showcasing formal training in baking techniques.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen, demonstrating a solid background in production.
Experience in high-volume production settings, particularly with intricate pastry work and decorative techniques.
Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring a safe working environment for staff and customers.
