Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct exams, interpret tests (ECG, echo, stress tests), diagnose cardiovascular diseases (angina, arrhythmias, heart failure), and create personalized treatment plans.

  • Perform/assist in diagnostic & interventional procedures like echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterization (Cath Lab), and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs)

  • Work with surgeons, nurses, dietitians, physiologists to provide holistic patient care, often covering Cardiac ICU rounds and support.

  • Counsel patients on conditions, risk factors, medications, and lifestyle changes (diet, exercise).

  • Maintain accurate, timely records of patient encounters, tests, and treatment plans.

  • Stay updated on new therapies, participate in training, research, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Supervise junior staff, participate in departmental meetings, lectures, and academic activities (journal clubs).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds board certification Cardiology.

  • US Board/Canadianfellowship/DES/UK CCT/CESR/Irish/Facharzt(German), Spanish board or equivilant.

  • Dataflow and/or a valid medical license and registration to practice medicine Saudi Arabia is a plus.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of post-training experience in Cardiology showcasing a broad range of clinical expertise.

  • Exhibits strong technical in Diagnostic cardiology procedures; ECHO, ECG, extra.

  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with fluency in additional languages being advantageous.
