Consultant - Transplant Hepatology

1. Authorized to admit patients and assume responsibility as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), including managing outpatient clinics and providing consultations within the specialty.

2. Permitted to perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures, provided adequate training and in accordance with Governing Body-approved privileges.

3. Ensures timely, complete, and accurate documentation of patients' medical records.

4. Delivers high-quality, professional patient care that aligns with available resources.

5. Maintains professional and ethical standards of practice at all times.

6. Establishes, sustains, and continually improves educational and professional standards.

7. Actively supports undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

8. Participates in and supports research initiatives in all forms.

9. Promotes evidence-based learning and clinical decision-making.

10. Encourages efficient utilization of departmental and institutional resources.

11. Contributes to strategic planning related to community healthcare needs, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives within NGHA.

12. Fosters effective communication and collaboration between medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

13. Provides continuous health education to patients and their families.

14. Supports preventive medicine initiatives and community wellness programs.

15. Fulfills duties related to medical staff functions, departmental responsibilities, and committee assignments.

16. Ensures compliance with the Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations of the Medical Staff, hospital policies, organizational procedures, and all applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

17. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
