Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into HR initiatives that drive business results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for assigned business units, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and local labor laws in Dubai, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential risks.
- Lead and facilitate talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates, specifically for manufacturing roles.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities, focusing on manufacturing-specific needs.
- Conduct performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans, to drive employee performance.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for improvement in areas such as attrition and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with the HR team on compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive packages and compliance with local regulations.
- Act as a change agent, supporting organizational changes and initiatives, and effectively communicating changes to employees.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Holds relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP or CIPD, demonstrating professional expertise.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, including its specific challenges and HR requirements.
- Displays a proven track record of working in Dubai or the UAE, with a solid grasp of local labor laws and regulations.
- Is fluent in English (written and spoken) and Arabic is highly preferred, facilitating effective communication with diverse teams.
- Demonstrates proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship building.
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
